Call for Youth Editors for Status of Environment of North East Asia
(China, Japan, Korea and Mongolia)

Background
Global Environment Outlook for Youth in North East Asia is the one of the NEAYEN youth projects. To share perspective on Environment in North East Asia and youth Activities with around the world, NEAYEN have decide to publish “GEO for youth in NEA” This book will be platform to youth to make their perspective on why the environment is important and how we can join the process of making sustainable world.

Key message of
 Environmental Key Issues in North East Asia
A. Climate Change
B. Land (Desertification)
C. Consumption and Production
 Case Study of status of environment in China, Japan, Korea and Mongolia on environmental key issues.
 Youth Contributions; Interview, Case study of youth actions, essays, Drawings and Pictures.

Sections for Contributions

(1) Youth Contributors:
- 5-10 articles from each country; China, Japan, Korea and Mongolia
- Summit your essay, drawing, photos on your projects.
- Summit your drawing, photos on Environmental Key issues in NEA such as Climate change, Land or Consumption for front and last cover and inside.
* Projects and articles are related with North East Asia

(2) Youth Editors;
- 4 youth from each country; China, Japan, Korea and Mongolia
- Final Editing with contributed articles and drawings
- Contribute to summary of UNEP’s GEO on Key environmental issues in North East Asia (about 5 A4 pages)
- Invite to the 4th TUNZA North East Asia Youth Environment Network Conference and editorial meeting in Mongolia from 1st September to 5th September 2008.

Who Can Apply
- Young people between the ages of 15 and 24 years old
- Fluent in English writing
- Have a citizenship in Korea, China, Japan or Mongolia
- Have a perspective on Environment and youth activities in North East Asia.

How To Apply
(1) Contributors

- Ready to write or draw the contributions
- Summit your essay, drawing, photos on your projects.
- Summit your drawing, photos on Environmental Key issues in NEA such as Climate change, Land or Consumption for front and last cover and inside.

ANNEX 1: TUNZA North East Asia Youth Environment Network
TUNZA North East Asia Youth Environment Network (TUNZA-NEAYEN) is a youth network set up in January 2005 with consultation and support from the UNEP Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific as a part of the UNEP’s global youth strategy. It aims and functions at sub-regional level to mobilize youth and youth organizations in the countries such as China, Japan, South Korea and Mongolia for environmental protection activities under the principle of sustainable development, in collaboration with the other sub-regional youth networks in Asia Pacific Region. 虽然能读懂这个帖子,而且学的是中文专业,但关键是自己的英语水平有点low,假期要多努力了!

不会吧,我的英文也不好的,还能读懂呢。大家就不要低估自己了。
想当初,我还厚着脸皮要做商道纵横一个中英文项目的网站编辑,差点被的项目资助方拒绝;写的英文报告,被老板完全大改。丢了很多很多脸的!
